The Kindle is an e-reader that has my interest. I'm intrigued by this little device, but I'm cautious at the same time. I think the technology is still behind as I read and agree with http://ireaderreview.com/ .
This type of device has such potential for education. Can you imagine carrying around the Kindle 2.0 instead of multiple textbooks? I would love to carry around multiple texts at the same time. I'm just a bit apprehensive about the price and the fact that this device, like the iPod, will continue to evolve. A color, touch screen is not too much to ask now-a-days.

I love the idea of the Kindle! Can you image having a craving for a book and pulling out your kindle and buying it on the spot, being able to start it within minutes.
But the only real problem with the Kindle I think is that it's only going to harm book sales and newspaper sales. Newspapers are already doing bad enough, but with the Kindle you can get it instantly. As the price of the Kindle goes down, I'm sure lots of people would be interested in this method.
And besides, I don't think I could go without the smell of a new book and fresh pages, or even the feel of an old favorite that I've read multiple times over and over.
Textbook wise, the Kindle would be amazing. But personally, I think I'm going to stick to good old printed paper.
